Ashley Clarke Interiors

Ashley Clarke is a fresh, full-service boutique firm specializing in tastefully collected and updated interiors. She focuses on creating timeless yet modern spaces that deliver an emotional connection between her clients and their homes. Ashley believes that home design is a process and each client’s unique needs must be met in order to achieve the desired results. Ashley’s approach is to make the entire design process enjoyable and stress-free for her clients by keeping their personal style and aesthetic in mind throughout the planning and execution stages.

She is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a BSc in Kinesiology and has extensive research experience in various fields including osteoarthritis, bone density, and exercise physiology. She has worked as a research assistant in the Department of Emergency Medicine and has clinical experience with adults and children along a range of disabilities.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and volunteering for the Oak Hill Center for Education and Culture whose mission is to challenge and radically transform the current economic, political, social, and cultural system that impoverishes millions of people around the world. She has a passion for multiplatform journalism and is a proud Baltimore native.

Ashley Clarke is the curatorial director of the Criterion Collection and has previously served as the director of film programming at BAM. She is also a film critic, broadcast journalist, and experienced moderator of panels and Q&As. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, Variety, 4Columns, and the Village Voice, and she is a contributor to the Sight & Sound podcast. She has lectured on film criticism and programming at NYU, Brooklyn College, Rider University, and the BAM Young Critics Program.
