Puff Pastry With Curry

Puff pastry with curry is an easy, delicious and quick to prepare snack. The dish is a combination of chicken and potatoes that is stuffed in a puff pastry dough and then baked to perfection. The recipe is very versatile and can be adapted for various fillings. You can even add vegetables and leafy greens to make it healthy. These are very light in texture and are best enjoyed while they are hot and crispy. The dish is often served with a sweet chilli sauce.

To make this dish you will need a box of ready made puff pastry sheets which you can either find in the freezer section of your supermarket or purchase them online. It is important to read the instructions on the packet carefully to determine the required thawing time. It is also recommended to keep the puff pastry in the fridge for about 30 minutes to allow it to become more pliable and easier to handle.

The first step is to preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the thawed puff pastry sheet onto a floured surface and lightly dust it. Cut the puff pastry into 9 (3*3) equal squares.

Take one square and spoon a generous tablespoonful of the curry filling into the center. Brush 2 adjoining edges with beaten egg and fold over the filling to make a triangle. Press the edges shut and then transfer to a baking sheet. Continue the process with the rest of the squares. بف باستري بالكيري
